It genuinely feels like a self-contained apartment within the home. ⸻ 🏠 The House • Built in 2019 – modern, warm and dry • Central heating throughout • Strong fibre internet (included in bills) • Huge double garage with loads of storage • Additional shared storage (including our famous Harry Potter cupboard) Kitchen and main living are upstairs and shared. We have multiple fridges available — or you’re welcome to bring your own. WFH is absolutely fine — internet is strong and reliable. ⸻ 👥 The Household There are currently 6 of us: • Hope – Project Coordinator (25) • Sam – ICU Nurse (22) • Sophie – Administrative Assistant (20) • Carla – French traveller (26) potentially moving out in June to go back to France so we may have another availability in a single room • Ella – Radiographer (24) potentially moving out in June so we may have another availability in a single room We’re all working professionals in our 20s. We’re social and friendly — we enjoy flat dinners, the occasional drink, gym sessions and doing things together — but we also respect personal space and independence. Definitely not a party house. We’re ideally looking for another professional in their mid-20s to early 30s who is tidy, respectful and easygoing. ⸻ 🧼 House Standards It’s a large home, so we run a simple weekly chores roster for shared areas (kitchen, dining, living etc). Everyone contributes — all hands on deck. It’s important we find someone who takes pride in where they live and is happy to help keep shared spaces clean and tidy. ⸻ 🐾 Cats We have two cats and are not accepting additional pets. You must genuinely love cats — they’re part of the home and we want someone who enjoys them too. ⸻ 📍 Location Birkenhead, North Shore 🚌 Bus stop at the end of the road 🚗 Approx. 18 minutes to the CBD (off peak) 🏉 Close to Northcote Rugby Club 🛍 5 minutes to Glenfield Mall ⸻ 🚗 Parking Off-street parking only.
